Career Profile
Currently, I am a Post Doctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam. My work aims to understand how population dynamics respond to landscape change, I do so by modelling approaches. My research line focusses on predator-prey dynamics in conservation biological control and, simultaneously, increasing biodiversity in agricultural landscapes.
Experiences
I continue my line of research from my PhD, with a focus on pests in potato, winter wheat, onion and sugarbeet. My work is a part of the research project FAB Forward financed by the NWO KIC-program.

This PhD is a part of the research project FRAMEwork - Farmer clusters for Realising Agrobiodiversity Management across Ecosystems - financed by the EU-programme Horizon 2020.
Monitoring of bats for nature legislation of buildings.
Studying weasel ecology in agricultural landscapes as part of my MSc internship.
Guiding student through their modelling (Stella) and behavioural observation (snails) practicals.
Studying captive woolly monkey behavior and how their wild behavior could be encouraged through the implementation of environmental enrichments. This research was part of my MSc thesis Environmental enrichments for the woolly monkey (Lagothrix lagotricha).
